Not for me. It wasn't.
The truth had no upside.
So that the weight would be lifted?
How is that fair?
One person suffering or two?
Easy math.

- I knew, she replied.
You're not that cagey.
I appreciate the intention. I do.
But, who are you to make the decisions?
To ration out the information like crumbs to a bird?
Doing the right thing,
doesn't always mean playing the hero.

- I didn't want you to hurt any more.

- I needed the truth.

- I'm sorry.

- I know.

- I didn't mean --

- Would you do it differently next time?

- No...

- I know.
